Highlights of the Trek |
|
Imjatse was first named Island Peak
because of its resemblance to an island
in a sea of ice when seen from above
Dingboche.
As well as providing an enjoyable climb
the peak also provides some of the most
striking scenery in the Khumbu.
Many other peaks can be seen from the
summit including Nuptse, Lhotse, Lhotse
Middle Peak, Lhotse Star, Cho Polu,
Makalu, Baruntse and Ama Dablam.

introductory treks but with occasional
higher altitude selections.
