Round Annapurna Trek

Program Code : MOC06

 Highlights of the Trek

This most spectacular and adventurous trek commences at Dumre (420m); a four and a half-hour bus ride from Kathmandu.

You will be walking through low lands and high hills along the Marshyangdi River viewing enchanting natural beauty of green forests, bamboo groves with lovely chirping birds, picturesque villages and monasteries of Tibetan origin.

Your trek will be imprinted in your mind forever because of the spellbinding panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas, which can be seen from Thorang-la (5417m), the peak point of this route.
You will be in the lap of mountains such as Ngadichuli, Lamjung, Manaslu, Pisang Peak, Annapurna ll, lV and lll, Gangapurna, Chulu East and West, Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Annapurna 1 and South, Machhapuchare (Fish Tail), and many more.

Grade : Challenging
These treks will involve some high altitude activity and the occasional pass-crossing with walks of up to 9 hours per day and altitudes not exceeding 6000 metres. Be aware of the physical and mental needs of this type of trek. You will need to be fit and the preparations for the moderate trek apply here too. Level of fitness is unrelated to altitude sickness and you cannot be sure that you will not suffer some mild symptoms. Slow and steady is the key to enjoyment.
